Emily is working to make women more central to the stories we tell about the history of astronomy, planetary science, aviation, and spaceflight at CfA and the National Air and Space Museum. Her research will inform exhibitions, public programs, new collections, and much more!

She would love to share her work with you during office hours, and welcomes your help, too! Emily is looking to the CfA community for assistance identifying:

  • women who have contributed to astronomy throughout the history of the CfA. She is interested in learning about scientists and engineers, as well as others who engage with astronomy, including technicians, teachers, communicators, etc.

  • opportunities for programs, events, and resources around women's history at CfA.
