Welcome to the John G. Wolbach Library, which houses one of the world's premier collections of books, journals, conference proceedings, databases, globes, slides, charts, folios, and dissertations in the fields of astronomy and astrophysics. The Wolbach Library is open to those at the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics, Harvard University, the Smithsonian Institution, and the international astronomical community. Learn more about the Wolbach Library.

The NASA Astrophysics Data System (ADS) is an online database of more than 11 million records (including arXiv e-prints and roughly 4 million full-text articles) covering peer reviewed and non-peer reviewed publications in astronomy, astrophysics and physics. The ADS, operated by the Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory (SAO) under a NASA grant, is located within the John G. Wolbach Library. The two groups collaborate on digital library initiatives such as the Unified Astronomy Thesaurus, ADS Bumblebee (Beta), Seamless Astronomy and more. Through the ADS, the Wolbach Library provides CfA affiliates access to electronic resources which can be searched via the Classic or Bumblebee interfaces and also browsed.
