Visitors wishing to work with Wolbach Library collections should review our Collection Access Policy before making plans to visit the CfA.

10 am - 4 pm, Monday - Friday

Open Doors
9 am - 5 pm, Monday - Friday

The Library is closed on Federal holidays.

24-hour access is available to ID card holders. If your ID card does not work, please contact the HCO Business Office.

Location

The Wolbach Library is located in P Building. Enter the CfA through the Perkin Lobby.
The Library will be immediately to your left.

The Glass Plate Collection is housed in the Observatory Plate Stacks in D Building.
Enter the Observatory at Phillips Auditorium. The Plate Stacks will be immediately to your left.

Parking

The parking lot at the CfA requires a parking permit. Temporary permits, subject to availability, may be purchased online

Accessibility

We are committed to supporting all visitors to the Observatory. Unfortunately we are constrained by the 19th (and 20th) century buildings in which our collections are stored. For this reason, please contact us if you require the use of a wheelchair so we can make sure you are able to use our space.
