Martha Hazen

Dr. Martha Locke Hazen (also known as Martha Liller) (1931-2006) was Curator of Astronomical Photographs from 1969 to 2001. She was the last Astronomer to hold the position. Over five decades, Dr. Hazen was pivotal in teaching modern astronomers, historians, and researchers how to read the photovisual, photometric information on the plates.
