Unified Astronomy Thesaurus

Open Metadata to Define Astrophysical Research

The Unified Astronomy Thesaurus (UAT) is an open, interoperable and community-supported project that unifies existing astronomy and astrophysics vocabularies into a single high-quality thesaurus to formalize astronomical concepts and their inter-relationships.

The UAT is curated by Wolbach's Assistant Head Librarian, Katie Frey, and managed by the American Astronomical Society.
